Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about our online Arabic lessons.

How do online lessons work?

You meet your native teacher live on Zoom at the time you booked. Each lesson follows your personal learning plan and mixes speaking, listening, reading and vocabulary. Your teacher shares notes and practice material so you can review between lessons.

Are the lessons one-on-one?

Yes. Every lesson is private, just you and your teacher, so the pace, content and corrections are fully focused on you.

Which platform do you use?

All lessons take place on Zoom. It's free to install on your computer, tablet or phone, and we send you the link before every lesson.

Are the teachers native Arabic speakers?

Yes. All OnlineModares teachers are native Arabic speakers and professional teachers, experienced in teaching Arabic, the Egyptian dialect and Quran recitation to non-native learners.

Can I choose my lesson schedule?

Yes. You choose the days and times that suit you and your time zone, and we match you with a teacher who is available then.

What happens during the trial lesson?

You meet your teacher, experience a short real lesson, and discuss your level, goals and learning needs. Afterwards we recommend the plan that fits you best, and you decide if and when to continue.

Can I change my schedule?

Yes. Let us know in advance and we'll help you move a lesson or adjust your regular weekly times.
